The King Reigns Supreme: The Chosen Season 5 Sets New Box Office Records!

The People Have Chosen

The opening weekend for The Chosen Season 5, Part 1 has passed, and the reception has been overwhelmingly positive. After three days at the box office, The Chosen: Last Supper – Part 1 earned a total of $11.5 million. This is by far the best debut for any theatrical release of the series, surpassing the previous record-holder, 2022’s The Chosen Season 3: Episodes 1 & 2, which opened to $8.8 million. These are strong numbers and great momentum heading into Part 2 (Episodes 3, 4, and 5) this weekend. People are on The Chosen train, and with two more weekends to continue rolling out Season 5, it looks like this season is living up to the anticipation.

Hollie Taylor, host of Good Company, had the opportunity to speak with Dallas Jenkins, director of The Chosen. During the interview, he reveals intriguing details about what fans can look forward to in Season 5. Jenkins discusses the unique aspects that make this project truly special and how the series effectively inspires viewers to deepen their connection with Christ. The theatrical release of The ChosenThe Last Supper – Part 2 (Episodes 3, 4, and 5) is scheduled for April 4th.
